My preliminary task
Planning:
We created a plan for our preliminary task. It includes a brief layout of the location we we shot our task, as well as the roles we allocated to the individuals within our group. We also included a rough script. Straight away we knew how we were going to implement our set criteria; a shot/reverse shot, match on action and the 180 degree rule. |
The End Product:
During the filming of our groups preliminary task I played one of two characters in the shot. I've filmed a short film before and I have done some acting before so I was content and comfortable whilst filming our preliminary task. However, I do feel like my improvisation skills improved over the course of filming this short clip. In this task me and my group had to meet a few criteria. We had to show a clear match on action shot, a shot/reverse shot and the whole clip had to be filmed using the 180 degree rule. I believe we implemented all of the criteria successfully. The most difficult part of the preliminary task was editing the footage after it had been recorded. After coming to terms with 'final cut pro' we managed to edit and uploaded the clip onto YouTube. |
